GRP wings – ready for painting & with ABE / ECE, suitable for VW T4 Note: To the best of our current knowledge, these GRP wings are among the few versions available on the market with ABE or ECE approval for vehicles intended for the VW T4. Approval was obtained as part of a months-long development and testing process. With the existing ABE / ECE approval, the wings are approved for use on public roads. According to the information in the approval, no additional registration is required provided installation is carried out in accordance with the conditions. More clearance for wider tyres: This sliding door wedge enables raising the door by 45 mm and is suitable for VW T4. Raising the sliding door prevents it from hitting the wheel arch on vehicles with wider tyres. This can help avoid damage to the door, interior trim and bodywork, and the sliding door can run smoothly again. Reproduction jack point – suitable for VW T4 This jack point is an accurate-fit reproduction and enables safe lifting of the vehicle, e.g. for tyre changes or repair work. The part is made from a single piece of 2 mm thick body sheet steel and is reinforced by design to achieve high stability. The design is based on the original geometry and includes all necessary holes and threads for fastening the catalytic converter bracket. The jack point is suitable for vehicles intended for this design (model years 1990–2003). The cross member above the spare wheel is a reproduction, suitable for VW T4, and is manufactured based on the original repair panel. The material used is automotive steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm, which is slightly above the thickness of the standard component (approx. 1.3 mm). The cross member is located centrally above the spare wheel. Due to its position, this component is permanently exposed to moisture and dirt, which is why it often needs to be repaired or replaced due to corrosion. The polypropylene originally used can become brittle or deform over time due to thermal load in the engine bay, which often leads to leaks. Possible consequences include loss of performance and, in unfavourable cases, possible consequential damage to the turbocharger. Note: The O-ring (43 × 3 mm) on the turbocharger is not included. Please make sure to check the engine code and the existing part number on the vehicle before ordering. Our solution: reconstruction using modern technology To solve this problem, the intake duct was redesigned and technically further developed. The original part was digitised using a 3D scan and fully rebuilt in CAD. Precise measurements on the turbocharger enable accurate-fit installation and a secure seat without an additional clamp. This rear cross member in front of the spare wheel is a reproduction replacement part, suitable for VW T4. It is located in front of the spare wheel (in the direction of travel) and provides structural support for the spare wheel carrier. The part has been re-engineered and also includes the mount for the spare wheel. Manufactured from 2 mm thick steel sheet, the cross member is designed for use in bodywork and welding repairs.
