Reinforced rear shock absorber mount – repair panel, suitable for VW T5 & VW T6

This reconstructed and reinforced shock absorber mount for the rear axle is suitable for vehicles of the VW T5 and VW T6 series. The part has been remanufactured based on the series geometry and strengthened by design to better withstand higher mechanical loads. It is particularly suitable for vehicles with increased use, e.g. due to uprating, intensive use or modified suspension components. As part of technical calculations and simulations, high load capacity of the design was determined. The design is significantly above the forces typically encountered in series operation and therefore provides additional safety margins for demanding operating conditions. Tabs and reinforcement elements are based on the original arrangement to ensure controlled load transfer into the body structure. The part is manufactured from 2 mm thick steel sheet. The area around the damper mount is additionally reinforced by design to specifically safeguard highly stressed zones. Corrosion protection The part is galvanised and additionally black primed. This combination provides reliable protection against corrosion and weathering and is suitable for year-round use. Suitable as a repair solution The shock absorber mount is also suitable for repairing damaged or corrosion-weakened areas in the rear axle area. It provides a stable and durable solution for vehicle maintenance and repair.
