If the washer fluid reservoir is filled to the brim, excess water may leak out through the nozzles. If you want to avoid this, you can retrofit a separately available overpressure valve. Why these nozzles matter Vehicles with xenon or gas-discharge headlights pass the periodic inspection under § 50 para. 10 StVZO only with a functional headlight washer system. Missing or non-functioning nozzles can lead to refusal of the inspection sticker. The outer geometry and connection dimensions are based on the series parts, but the outlet channels have been flow-optimised. The result is a stable, even fan spray that reliably wets the headlight surface – without time-consuming adjustment. Installation – in under 10 minutes Extend the telescopic cylinders and pull off the old nozzles. Fit the new nozzles until they click audibly into place. Connect the water hose and perform a function test. Note for xenon retrofits For xenon conversions, the washer system must be functional before the periodic inspection. This set provides a practical solution as a suitable replacement for missing or defective nozzles – without expensive new parts.
