VW T4 Handbrake Pull Rods with Equalizer Lever for Short and Long Wheelbase - Reproduced

First of all, I want to apologize to you. A few weeks ago, I promised that the pull rods with the equalizer lever for the T4 would soon be ready. Unfortunately, there were unexpected problems in the production of these parts, which is why I can only fulfill that promise now.

The biggest challenge was finding the right material for the pull rods and ensuring that they meet safety standards. After numerous trials, we finally decided on a combination of tools and induction forming. First, the cold-stamped eyelet is welded to the pull rod.

Next, the other end is heated to a glowing state using induction heating and shaped in a press tool. This allows us to finally produce this sought-after and very rare replacement part in small series.

The pull rods are available for both the long and short wheelbase, with lengths of 3320 mm and 2920 mm. Production starts in calendar week 27.

In addition, we have also reconstructed the equalizer lever to which the pull rods are attached. A new tool had to be developed for this part as well. Now, you finally have the option to save your beloved T4, as a functioning handbrake is essential for TÜV approval.
